Congratulations SenatorPresident Obama. This is truly a great day in America, I did not vote for you and I still disagree with your positions but I believe that you’ve achieved for us in American history a turning point which could mean a new birth for an even greater nation. Sir, you have my complete loyalty as an American citizen. God bless you and God bless America.
I think your first act as President should be adding your name to all spell checkers.
Turn In Here
It seemed So Clear
Peace And Rest
Whispered In My Ear
But When I Sat To Contemplate
The Attractions All Swallowed Up My Fate
Paralyzed Or So It Seemed
Peace And Rest Were Just A Dream
Asleep In The Arms Of A World Of Lies
I Must Leave This Place One More Time
This Place Is Always There For Me
Offering It’s Pleasantries
It Would Be So Easy To Stay A Day
But My Home Is But A Breath Away
Inspired By The Obstacles
FREEDOM IS ALWAYS WORTH THE PRICE
Thank you Joe. God Bless you and all your fellow soilders.

God Bless America. God has blessed America. I have trouble with those statements sometimes, or rather those statements are troubling. Troubling because I think of those who are less fortunate, those in third world countries, those who are starving. But we must remember that though there are many who can point to what they believe is wrong with America or even the hypocrisy of America, that America has been a great force for good in this world. America has no equal in terms of compassion.
On the homefront, on this day we should remember all those who lost their lives seven years ago. All those caught unawares and all those who sacrificed all because they felt that there job was more than just a duty, it was an obligation.
For all those who serve this country, from community organizers to all those in the armed forces, I salute and thank you.
For a list of all those who lost their lives on 9/11/01 Go Here, Thanks Duane
Every once in a while ( ok alot) I check my blog stats. I like to see where people are coming from. I also check to see what search terms are used by some who happen upon this blog. Well, this post is for the person using the search term ” i can not vote for a black man” which I noticed was use today and yesterday (and hopefully you will find this post).
My advice (if you’re willing to accept it) to you is to vote with your heart. Vote for the person that you believe will best serve the interests of our country and ALL Americans, regardless of race, creed or color. Let your judgement be based on Love. I want to see Barack Obama lose, but not because he’s black but because I disagree with his policies and his ideologies.
